Gimme One Reason To Stay Here...

And we'll turn right back around...

Living in Singapore was a wonderful experience for both of us. It's hard for me to put into words how special it was for my WHH (Way-Hot Husband = Michael). He was able to work with a team of exceptional talent that had been without leadership for several months. It didn't take long for him to learn about each of his team members' talents and their willingness to work toward the unusual goals that his team had set.

Honestly?? I was almost sick of hearing the acronym for the new platform that his team had developed! He was on the phone most nights with Europe or the U.S. along with the Singaporean team members for the last 2+ years. The coolest part is that the entire project has been successful and nothing like this has ever been done before.

I have always been proud of my husband. He is loving, honorable, trustworthy, sincere, and a loving father -- qualities that aren't always so easy to find. What an adventure the last 30 years has been. It sure doesn't seem like it's been that long to me.

I think this video sums up what I'm trying to say, but in pictures instead. I would prefer to say, "We'll see you again soon!" rather than "Farewell".

MM I don't think I ever had a bad meal in Singapore! I'm really missing cheese lobster.

Mike is the best! You're a lucky lady, darlin'. But then he's a lucky, lucky man!

Hi Finn, oh I'm so happy that you were able to meet him in person at TequilaCon. He really is a very special man, and I'm so proud of him.

I've been mulling over an idea that Dave2 put into my head, and I think I'm going to go with it. I will definitely make an announcement whenever I do make a change. I still plan to blog about Singapore here, but I want to make it more about our recommendations to other Americans moving there.

No, not yet. Kentucky Girl is working on a template for me (I won it from the raffle for Lisa). When it's finished I'll let everyone know.

You're so cute! Yes, I knew exactly what you meant. We've been back in the U.S. since May 1, and we are missing Singapore a lot. Repatriation is not as simple as one would think.
